Lucy offers one-to-one tuition in acting, singing and performance coaching for all ages and experiences as well as masterclasses to performers all over the world. Classes are tailored to each individual student. The normal lesson length is 45 minutes which includes 15 minutes of warm up followed by 30 minutes of tuition.

Lucy holds monthly masterclasses in acting, vocals and musical theatre for performers. So do you want to brush up your Shakespeare? Do you want to master the art of acting for screen? Do you want to learn routines from West End Shows or learn how to shine at an audition?
Masterclasses include: Acting for Stage and Screen, Dance, Improvisation, Character Building/ Studies, Radio and Voiceover Technique, Fight Combat, Sight Reading, The Stanislavski Technique, Classical Acting, Musical Theatre and Audition Practice.

WHERE DO PRIVATE LESSONS TAKE PLACE? Lessons currently take place virtually on Zoom.
I'M A SINGER HOW DO I PRACTICE AWAY FROM YOUR LESSONS? If you are a vocal student, guide tracks and backing tracks are provided for you to practice at home.
HOW DO I PAY FOR LESSONS? If taking weekly lessons these must be paid for in advance. No refunds are given for missed classes unless canceled by Lucy Hunter James herself. Students taking one-off lessons can pay via bank transfer or Paypal
WILL I GET TO SHOW MY PARENTS WHAT I'VE BEEN WORKING ON WITH YOU? Students take part in a small informal showcase every winter to perform a selection of songs learnt over the year for each other and parents.
DO YOU OFFER ANY SCHOLARSHIPS? An annual trophy is given out to the student who Lucy feels has worked consistently hard and improved hugely throughout the year.
DO YOU WRITE REFERENCES? Lucy is more than happy to write references for any of her students.
DO WE EVER GET TO PERFORM FOR YOU OUT OF THE LESSONS? Students are often invited to perform with Lucy at events throughout Dubai. Lucy also co-owns 'The West End Stage Experience' which provides performers with the opportunity to audition and star in professionally staged productions - previous shows have included Oliver, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, High School Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and more...
